Tom Holland, president of Free State Firearms, LLC, today announced the limited availability of the company’s 9mm 1911 Sentry sometime during the second quarter of 2023. “Free State Firearms, LLC will be delivering its first Sentry firearms to a select group of law enforcement agencies for evaluation later this month (January 2023). We will then be incorporating any subsequent feedback from our law enforcement partners into the Sentry platform prior to delivering against our existing customer backlog. Backlog shipments will start at some point during the second quarter of 2023”.
Free State Firearms, LLC’s patent-pending technology integrates with an RFID-enabled authorization ring worn by the shooter. The shooter, firmly gripping the firearm, must be fitted with the appropriate authorization ring for the gun to fire. Free State Firearms, LLC’s technology helps to ensure that each Free State Firearms, LLC firearm fires when it is supposed to fire as intended by the authorized shooter.
